The public libraries are open for everybody, and the services are free of charge.

You can:

• loan books, CD´s, DVD´s and other materials
• use the Internet
• read or borrow newspapers and magazines
• get information

How to use Langeland Library?

If you wish to loan materials, we will issue a library card, and for that purpose you have to show ID, such as passport or drivers license. If you have got a danish health insurance card, you can also use this as a library card.

Library Catalogue.

You can search Langeland Library Catalogue (Danish version) from this page to find and order materials held by Langeland Library. You need a four digit pincode with your library card to order materials in Langeland Library Catalogue.
You can also order materials on www.bibliotek.dk (national catalogue, English version), where you can find a much wider range of materials. You need to have a library card issued by Langeland Library to order materials from www.bibliotek.dk to be delivered to and fetched in the Mainlibrary or the Mobile Library.
